Heroscape at Emerald City Gamefest

Heroscape at Emerald City Gamefest:
Setup took me 2 hours, wow I used 3 Master Sets and 3 expansions, the Castle, Ice & Lava we had enough time for 2 games.
------
Our first game was a 600 point army of Utgar vs a 500 point army of Jandar, The Jandar side had to defend the castle, At just 5 rounds the Utgar side had the victory. Due to some poor choices of troops for the Jandar side, Too many leaders and not enough troops was the Jandar side demise.
------
The second game had a 900 point army of Utgar and a 750 point army of Jandar. Jandar had the victory by stacking area effect team bonusus and a great stratagy. We had to stop early because the game day event was over.

Emerald City Gamefest Nov 25th 2006

WHEN

The event is held on Saturday November 25, two days after Thanksgiving, from 9AM to 7PM. The intro game, called "Cruel 2B Kind", will be held in the upper parking lot from 9AM to 11AM; and the indoors games will be held in the Third Place Commons meeting room from 11AM to 7PM.
Note that from 1PM to 2PM, there will be a harp concert in the main Commons area; while we don't have to stop playing, it may be kind of loud in general area (our HQ should still be alright).
The game schedule shows games that are already scheduled, but you can show up any time and borrow one of the games listed on this page to run it with your friends or whoever else in interested!

Gary's Games & Hobbies

8539 Greenwood Ave N
Seattle, WA 98103
(206) 789-8891

I could not think about Greenwood without thinking about Gary's Games, I first heard about the store durring my Magic the Gathering phase, I would try to hit as many stores hosting magic games so I could trade cards. More recently Ive been brousing the store for a quick game fix as its not too far away. I picked up Munchkin there a few weeks ago.

Games Plus

12637 NE Woodinville Dr.
Woodinville, WA 98072
(425) 485-7295

I had met Don Forbis of Games Plus in his dealers room booth at Norwescon 29, I purchaced the starter set of MechWarrior and a few booster packs there and spend most of Saturday afternoon in the rotunda playing my new game. One of my favorive things about going to cons is checking out the game stores in the dealers room.
